Mexico - 23/11/03 Certification Process for Check Printers & Securities The Mexican Banking Association (MBA) in conjunction with the Check Printers & Securities Association (CPSA) The Mexican Banking Association (MBA) in conjunction with the Check Printers & Securities Association (CPSA), taking advantage of the experience gained and necessities from both parts, designed a set of security standards to prevent fraud. These standards regulate from the commercialization to the manufacture and distribution of documents. This self-regulation effort is completed with the participation of SGS ( as an independent certification body) involved in a certification process, to verify compliance towards these set of standards grouped in a regulation document.
